Victory Green Plano PAC exists for one reason: to pass Proposition A.

Victory Green Plano PAC exists for one reason: to pass Proposition A to bring the Dallas Stars and a city-owned sports and entertainment complex to Plano, and to make sure every voter knows the facts before they vote.

We are Plano residents, business owners, parents, and community leaders who believe Plano should compete for and win the biggest opportunities in North Texas.

Vision

Imagine a Plano where:

Bringing the Dallas Stars Professional Hockey Team to Plano

World-class professional hockey coming to our community.

The Dollars Stay In Plano

Instead of Plano families driving to other parts of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and leaving their entertainment spending there, the revenue from games, concerts, and events flows into Plano restaurants, hotels, and shops.

The City Owns the Arena and Land

The City of Plano will own the arena on city-owned land. That means local school districts and community events will be able to use this building for graduations, tournaments, community celebrations — not just hockey games.

Our Kids Get More

The Dallas Stars Foundation will be increasing its presence in Plano, providing additional youth hockey programs, education initiatives, and health and community investment aimed directly at Plano kids.

Residents Are Protected

The proposed venue taxes would apply to specific transactions, such as hotel stays, short-term car rentals, arena parking and event admissions, regardless of where the person making the transaction lives. Proposition A does not affect Plano’s existing property-tax rate.

Our Story

Plano has never been a city that waits for the future. From the corporate headquarters that chose Plano over every other city in America, to schools and neighborhoods that families move across the country to join, the City of Plano wins because it says yes to smart opportunities.

The plan to build a new indoor sports and entertainment complex at The Shops at Willow Bend and bring the Dallas Stars from downtown Dallas to Plano is exactly that kind of opportunity, and it is structured so that the people who travel here to enjoy it are the ones who pay for it. The Stars are more than a hockey team. They are a championship-caliber organization whose players and employees show up in the community: food drives, youth programs, support for underprivileged children's education.

This November, Vote for Plano. Vote FOR Proposition A.
